These vintage rose globes were once filled with water, a rose placed into the rubber base and then sealed, preserving the rose in a splendid display for a week or more. Personally, I would repurpose the globes as display cloches for small curious objects! I haven’t tested the rubber seals on the bases. The globe on the left has an additional plastic base to sit the rubber seal into and the one on the right might need a little heat from a hairdryer to soften the rubber for sealing onto the globe. Otherwise, apart from a small amount of wear from use, both globes are in good vintage condition.
