These stunning hand-coloured lithographs date from around the 1820s or 1830s by J McCormick and printed by W Köhler. They depict “Jeune Grec” (young Greek) and “The Betrothed”. Rich, jewel-like colours and the natural aging of the paper, makes for an evocative pair of portraits.
